costing and inventory in an ERP system. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of combined experience in Finance, and

ERP Systems, especially inventory systems, and 5+ years experience working in an industrial environment. Also, a

CPA-CMA degree, as well as excellent analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.

The candidate must be prepared and available to work on an irregular schedule.

Job Duties: Inventory Manager/Controller, Scheduler Reporting to both the divisional General Manager and the

Head Office Finance Department, the candidateʼs main task will be to assist the GM. Basic Function: The cost ac-

countant position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin

analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The cost accountant must also construct and monitor those

cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to manage-

ment. Principal Accountabilities:1. Create new item 2. Creating and updating price lists 3. Make sure all data and

transactions related to the inventory (production orders, move to finished goods, shipping/receiving, warehouse

transfer) are done correctly in the ERP system. Work with Plant Supervisor to make sure Production Orders are

done correctly. 4. Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts (Assist Auditors) 5. Investigate cycle

counting variances and resolve issues 6. Update standard costs in the bill of materials 7. Review/revise standard

and actual costs for inaccuracies; find ways to limit the number of manual adjustments. 8. Validate the cost of

goods sold as part of the month end close 9. Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accept-

ed accounting principles 10.Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory Anal-

ysis 1. Be able to produce KPIʼs, Financial and Cost Analyses required by Head Office 2. Conduct ongoing process

constraint analyses 3. Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factories 4. Report on margins by

product and division 5. Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances

6. Analyze capital budgeting requests 7. Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group.
