We thank you all for your fantastic response and feedback, which in turn has kept us going and enabled launching

CPL as a brand, recognized by most corporate cricket lovers. CPL is the only corporate tournament in NCR that gives

chance to pLay, ShiNe, WiN, do what you always dreamt of - score that winning run, take the winning catch, bowl a

magical over, have fun, soak in ‘The moment of Glory’ and talk about it endlessly.

Silent Points of the Events

CPL 2012 Edition I (3rd Nov – 22nd Dec 2012)

Following 16 Corporate Teams participated in the inaugural event

CPL 2012 tournament finale saw Adobe Beating Oracle by 1 run in a nail biting finish

Timely updates about current status, match results, Top 20 batsmen, Top 20 bowlers were published on the

During CPL 2012 Captains' meet, held on 22nd Oct 2012 at Seven Wonders Bar and Restaurant, individual

All matches were held on the grounds of Mohan Meakins and ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, played

under the expert supervision of professional umpires. Knock out matches were played at Mohan Meakins’

ground

During all League matches, quality lunch was provided to the teams. Apart from this arrangements for serving

of tea, cold drinks, biscuits, bananas were made on both the grounds

For the knock out matches, besides the above arrangements, special food arrangements for e.g. nonstop

omlettes, boiled eggs, sandwiches were done for the Team members including supporters

Professional commentators were hired during Semi Final and Final matches

Professional Photographers were engaged during the Captains’ meet, Inaugural, Semifinal and Final matches

Awards worth more than Rs.2 Lakhs were distributed to sportspersons/teams in the category of Individuals,

Series, Special, Team and Award of Honor during a star studded prize distribution ceremony held at Mohan

Meakins on 21st Dec. 2012

Special arrangements of extravagant lunch for 100 guests was done after the closing ceremony of CPL 2012 at

Mohan Meakins ground on 21st Dec. 2012

Series Prizes and complete kit bag with cricket items for next edition i.e. CPL T20 2013 EditionII, kick starting

from 9th Feb 2013, was also displayed during the closing ceremony on 21st Dec

CPL 2013 Edition II (9th Feb– 13th April, 2013)

Following 24 Corporate Teams participated in the event with more than Rs. 4 Lakh awards distributed to the

teams in the entire tournament.

Team HCL won the tournament by beating Aanya Buildwell in the final match

Pitney Bowes secured the IIIrd place after beating Wipro

Arrangements similar to the last tournament were done in this edition also.

GS Corporate XII won the tournament by beating HCL in the final match

Vadilal secured the IIIrd place after beating Clear2Pay

CPL T20 2013 Edition III (12th

Oct 2013)

One of the key components of the events organised till date was gathering feedback directly from the corporates

which in turn helped in bringing out changes to the format of every subsequent CPLs. In all the 3 tournaments we

gathered 360* feedback through our website and graphical results are displayed as below

Based on feedback it gives us immense pleasure in announcing the most awaited season of CPL T20 2013 Edition III

cricket tournament from 12th October with high hopes, renewed plans and heightened targets. The highlights of this

tournament will be highest prize amount till date i.e. more than Rs. 8 lakhs of awards. The event promises you with

an edition much bigger than any of our earlier events and awards and recognitions never heard or imagined before

in a corporate tournament.

We are targeting 48 corporate teams and more than 750 cricketers unified under one umbrella – CPL. All the teams

will be playing in following 2 categories:

Diamond Category

Separate tournament for 24 corporates who represent and belong to a single corporate

Top 3 teams will be awarded with the Winner, Runner Up and IIIrd Place trophies and several prizes

Gold Category

Separate tournament for 24 corporates representing their teams with a mixture of genuine corporates

Top 3 teams will be awarded with the Winner, Runner UP and IIIrd Place trophies and other prizes

As per our experience from the Season of 2012-13, 5 teams are moved to the Gold Category: Aanya Buildwell,

Tata Docomo, GS Corporate XII, WCE and Vadilal

Highlights of CPL T20 2013 Edition III Apart from all the facilities as in season 2012-13 the other highlights for CPL T20 2013 are as follows:

Strictly for Corporates and teams. Need to submit the team details including photograph of 17 players along

with Company I Card of the representing corporate during Captains’ meet .

Will initiate from 12th October 2013, 24 teams will participate in Gold and in Diamond category. 104 matches will

decide the fate of the teams

All the matches will be played on weekends only

All the teams will get at least 3 matches to play and after league round A ,16 teams out of 24 will get the chance

to play the 4th Pre Quarter match in Round B.

24 teams have been divided in group of 6 Each team will play 3 matches in their respective group All the 36 league matches will be played at the following Venues

a. Mohan Meakins ground Ghaziabad b. JBM Global Noida expressway sector 135 c. Khaitan Public School Sahibabad d. Yadu Public School Sector 73 Noida

After League Round A the top 16 teams will qualify for the Pre Quarter Final Round B.

Total 8 knock out matches will be there based on the ranking from round A. Team Rank 1 v/s Team Rank 16 ,

Team Rank 2 v/s Team Rank 15 and so on.
