Special features of your televisionThis television can receive and process all analogue and allunencrypteddigital stations.This televisionsethasan integrateddigitalandanaloguereceiver.Thedigitalreceiverunitconvertsthesignalsfromdigitalstationstoprovideoutstandingaudioandpicturequality.

TheTVguide(only fordigital stations) tellsyouofanyschedulechangesatshortnotice,andprovidesanoverviewofallthestations’schedulesforthenextfewdays.Detailedinformationontheindividualstations–ifitisprovidedbythebroadcaster– isalsoavailable in theelectronicprogrammeguide.

Youcanconnectvariousdatamedia,forexample,anexternalharddrive,aUSMmemorystickoradigitalcameratotheUSBsocket.Usingthefilebrowser,youcanthenselectandplaythefileformatsyouwant(forexample,MP4,MP3orJPEGdata).Thetelevisionsethasacomprehensive,user-friendlymenusystem.

Receiving digital stationsTo receive digital stations you needa digital rooftop or indoorantenna (passive or active indoor antenna with its own powersupply).

Unlike analogue broadcasting, not every station has its owntransmissionfrequency.Instead,severalstationsaregroupedintowhatareknownasbouquetsonaregionalornationallevel.

Youcanfindthecurrent transmissioninformationonteletextfromvariousbroadcasters,orlookinaTVguideorontheInternet.

What is Common Interface?CommonInterface(CI)isaninterfaceforDVBreceivers.

EncodedstationscanonlybeviewedwithaCAmodulesuitablefortheencodingsystemandthecorrespondingsmartcard.

The televisionset isequippedwithaCommonInterfaceslot intowhichCAmodulesfromvariousproviderscanbeinserted.

Youcaninserttheprovider’ssmartcardintotheCAmoduleinordertoenabletheencryptedstationsyouwanttosee.
