TAYLOR GUNTER, RHIANNON HYDE, ELIZABETH KING, MAKAYLA LEDFORD

There was a god named Omegasys. Omegasys was very bored, so he decided to create a world to entertain him.

First he needed to create a place for people to live.

On the first day, out of the vast nothingness, he formed deep mountains with great holes in them. He then blew many colors across the land from his hand. The next day, he saw that something needed to be in the great holes, so he poured forth from his hands, liquid fire.

On the third day he realized he needed to make some beings in his image, for his entertainment.

He laid two dragon eggs. When the eggs hatched, a male and female emerged from them.

The two immediately fell in love and created many dragon babies of their own.

CREATOR

GOD OF THE AFTERLIFE

EVIL GOD

THE AFTERLIFE THAT NECROFLAME RULED OVER ONCE HAD GOTTEN VERY CHAOTIC. HE KNEW OF A CERTAIN OBJECT THAT COULD HELP HIM REGAIN CONTROL OVER HIS DOMAIN. HE ASKED PHOENUS TO BRING THIS TO HIM.

PHOENUS WENT ON HIS JOURNEY TO RETRIEVE THIS OBJECT. HE FINALLY FOUND THE OBJECT

THAT NECROFLAME HAD ASKED FOR.

BEFORE HE COULD TAKE IT BACK TO NECROFLAME, HOWEVER, PYRO INTERVENED.

PYRO LOVED THE CHAOS AND INCINERATED PHOENUS WHILE THE OBJECT WAS STILL IN

HIS HAND.

WHEN THE DECEASED PHOENUS ARRIVED IN THE AFTERLIFE HE

WAS STILL IN POSSESSION OF THE OBJECT. HE IMMEDIATELY HANDED

IT OVER TO NECROFLAME.

GRATEFUL FOR THE OBJECT, NECROFLAME ALLOWED

PHOENUS TO LIVE ONCE AGAIN. PHOENUS ROSE FROM HIS OWN

ASHES- BUT INSTEAD OF A DRAGON-GOD- HE RETURNED AS A MAGNIFICENT BIRD. HIS NEW

NAME WOULD BE PHOENIX, AND HE WOULD BE ABLE TO LIVE IN A

WAY THAT PYRO WOULD NOT KNOW WHO HE REALLY WAS.

AS A PART OF THE DEAL STRUCK BETWEEN THE TWO GODS, PHOENIX MUST RETURN TO THE AFTERLIFE EVERY COUPLE THOUSAND YEARS TO BRING NEWS AND GIFTS TO NECROFLAME BY INCINERATING HIMSELF AND THEN MAY RETURN AGAIN BY RISING FROM HIS ASHES.

NECROFLAME IS THE GOD WHO WATCHES OVER THE AFTERLIFE. AS THE “UNDERWORLD” IS MADE OF

WATER, THE ONLY WATER DRAGON-GOD WAS APPOINTED

ITS KEEPER.

Afterlife

• Necroflame was a very wise God. He was known for making hard decisions, like deciding who was a good soul, and who was a bad one. He had a gift for knowing the true essence of a soul, and was a very good ruler of the afterlife.

THOSE THAT DO NOT OBEY THE WISHES OF THE DRAGON-GODS SPEND

THEIR TIME IN THE AFTERLIFE DROWNING IN THE FRIGID WATER.

THE GOOD SOULS OF THOSE WHO DIE SPEND THEIR TIME IN THE AFTERLIFE

IN A CASTLE MADE OF ICE SURROUNDED BY WATER.

Afterlife

• In the Fireworld, the afterlife was both something that was feared and celebrated by the people. To the people that were good, the afterlife meant an eternity of happiness. However, to the people that were bad, it meant an eternity of torture.

The great lava flood came down in a fiery storm when the dragon gods were made mad. The gods were angry with the people because they believed they did not worship them enough, and had become too selfish. The gods decided they needed a fresh start. The lava flowed hot and fast down to the town full of people.

The lava hurled toward the village. It flowed for 26 days straight. The villagers gathered all the belongings they could and headed for the highest patch of land they could find, they wanted to show their dragon gods that they were sorry and had learned their lesson.

They huddled together as the lava flooded around them. The villagers and the animals watched all signs of life around them get obliterated. Then, there was a sudden sign of hope as they prayed to their dragon gods.

The sun started to shine down on the villagers and they realized they made it through the worst of worst. They could now go on and rebuild what they had and restart their lives. They had pleased their dragon gods with their prayers of need and for help. The villagers realized that they do need the dragon gods after all and they should not be forgotten.
