Many researches show that:
High educated parents cause positive influence on students academic achievements (Jimerson et al, 1999).
Boarding school act as a role as a body of motivated and well-rounded students who study and live with supportive inclusive academic community, prepare the student well for future education (The Association of Boarding School of United State, 2003)
The entry channels (STPM, Matriculation, Diploma) in university is a major factor in influencing success of students in higher education institution (Norsida H et al, 2010).
Parents involvement in education plays an important role in supporting academic achievement of a student (LaBahn, 1995)

Research Design
Correlation in design.
Cross sectional study whereby we analyzes data of a group of subjects at the present state of study.
First Variable: the background of the students
Second Variable: is the academic performance which will be determined by their cumulative grade point average (CGPA) from their first until fifth semester and then we will look whether their CGPA will be affected by their background or not.
