What is Grid Quiz?

Grid Quiz is an easy way to conduct a fun quiz in the class that gets everyone involved and crucially doesn’t involve either a lot of preparation or resources

I came up with the idea when faced with please takes and teachers leaving no work behind!

Team Forming

First form your class into small groups

Maximum 4 pupils, probably best to have 2-3

Round One Begins

Round 1 begins with a member of Team A coming up and asking their best 3 questions

(only 3 because you don’t want duplicates later, that’s why they compete 12!)

First to answer correctly gains a mark for their team

Team A cannot answer their own round, hence the X!

C 1 1

Different variations of scoring and answering can take place

Wrong answers can mean a mark taken off

Or you can increase number of questions asked

You can even include a bonus round of questions asked by you which may be worth double points
