Geology & Mineralization
15
Permian to Triassic volcanic rocks unconformably overlain
by late Tertiary volcanics (andesites, dacites and rhyolites)
A Tertiary dioritic hornblende – feldspar porphyry is
believed to have intruded this sequence
The porphyry, mineralization and alteration is poorly
exposed in a series of small outcrops of 10 to 20m across
1.5 km of hillside.
The majority of the target area is buried under talus cover.
Evidence for a large buried Cu-Au porpyhry system:
Classic porphyry alteration: outer zone of propilitic
chlorite alteration, zones of intense argillic alteration
and small areas of potassic alteration with quartz and
magnetite stockwork veinlets.
High grade copper mineralization has been sampled
in small outcrops of dioritic porphyry.
Copper carbonates, malachite-azurite, magnetite and
chalcopyrite are observed.

IP Chargeability
• Ground magnetic and IP/Resistivity surveys returned strong magnetic and
chargeability highs coincident with the mineralization and alteration
Copper – Rock Chip Geochem

averaged 0.6% copper in an 18m
continuous composite chip sample
Gold– Rock Chip Geochem
Up to 2.73 ppm gold occurs in a matrix
supported breccia with calcite veins and
iron oxides

Talus fine sampling has defined a 1.4 km anomalous
zone with up to 1667 ppm Cu and up to 150 ppb Au.
Gold – Talus Geochem
Talus fine sampling has defined a 1.4 km anomalous
zone with up to 1667 ppm Cu and up to 150 ppb Au.

hectares. Small internal local 3rd party licenses
cover 46 hectares.
2,500m to 3,500 masl; paved highway provides
easy for year round work
Don Bosco is hosted in the same Ordovician age
sedimentary belt as the Gualcamayo Gold mine
(3.3Moz resources and reserves1)
Located on major continental scale NW-SE
structure that controls mineralization at Famatina
in Argentina and Cerro Casale in Chile (Reserves
of 23.2 million ounces Au2 ).

Geology
26
Underlain by Ordovician age sediments including carbonates and clastic metasediments
(schists and phyllites).
Along a major NW-SE trending crustal structure Mid-Carboniferous age granites and
granodiorites intrude the sedimentary sequence and are presumed to be the cause of
extensive copper-bearing skarn at San Alberto and El Pircarda zones.
The intrusives also contain a pronounced sheeted zoned of fractures and quartz veins that
host significant copper mineralization.
At Llantenes Cu-Ag (Au) is most concentrated within shears and vein-like structures which
typically range from 0.5m to 4m wide. Disseminated copper also occurs in the inter-bedded
shale-sandstone meta-sedimentary sequences.
A spatial association of this sediment-hosted mineralization with pillow lava sequences
suggests a potential genetic similarity to the "Sediment-hosted Copper"
Limestone
27
Sampling to date includes:
San Alberto Zone (Scarn) 1.3km strike of scarn alteration
11m averaging 0.53 g/t Au, 46 g/t Ag 1.77 % Cu
(composite chip from a massive amphibole and
sulphide skarn band).
El Pircarda Zone (Scarn) Narrow high grade scarn structures
2.4m averaging 2.04 g/t Au, 114 ppm Ag 10.0% Cu
(composite chip from a iron skarn band).
Llantenes Zone (Sedex) Disseminated and structurally controlled
mineralization hosted in sandstones and pellites.
25% Cu, 8.6 g/t Ag (1m chip sample)
2m grading 3.3% Cu (chip sample)
33m grading 0.49% Cu (composites chip samples)
La Ramada Zone (Gold Copper Veins and
Breccias) 4.69 g/t gold (4m chip sample)
