    Change the Interactive Greyscale Colour

    The interactive Greyscale tool is very useful. It shows a representation of the 3D view onthe 2D view. It uses colours to depict height. The higher parts of a relief have lighter

    colours, the lower parts of the relief have darker colours. The interactive greyscale

    updates instantly as you change and model the relief. In case youve never used it, thegreyscale utton is on the 2D toolar ne!t to the vector and itmap toggle uttons.

    "ou can change the colour of the interactive greyscale form the #ptions page.The #ptions tool is availale in the $ile section of the %ssistant page.

    %t the ottom of the options page, in the Greyscale &iew section, you can change the 3

    defining colours. The 'ase (olour represents the )ero *lane. The +owest (olourrepresents the ottom or lowest part on the relief and the ighest (olour represents the

    top or highest part of the reliefs.

    To change the colour, click on the round colour sample and then select a new colour formthe palette and click #-. %pply the changes on the options *age.

    !ample/ If you want a golden greyscale with a white ackground, change the colours to

    the following/ 'ase (olour 0 white, +owest (olour 0 dark rown, ighest (olour 0 pale

    yellow.
