GRETINA Intro

• Diminutive form of GRETA (Gamma Ray Energy Tracking Array) = ¼ GRETA

• Developed by same group as Gammasphere• Ge crystals segmented and much closer

together than in GS; no BGO separators– 36 segments/crystal– 28 crystals in 7 cryostats
