Green design is a type of design that is designed to be

environmentally friendly and sustainable, focusing on the efficient

use of "energy, water, and building materials."[1]

has a full collaborative team on hand to offer all expertise

required for each new project.

•Green Shoots Architecture can undertake both green and

traditional projects ranging from 10k to 10 million.

•Our passion and ethos are for the future of Architecture to

fully endorse Green Design and Sustainable materials.

•An inspirational Architect with over 20 years experience of working

in private practice to a senior level.

•My personnel passions are Great Design, Walking in the Dales and a

love affair for Italy and its culture, food and places.

•Nicks ambition for 2011 is ensure Green Shoots Architecture is

recognised for design, service and moves forward into the market to

compete with larger practices.

WHAT do we DO?Green Shoots Architecture have a wide range of experience and

expertise in the Architectural field, with a specialist understanding

in practice of working on Green / Sustainable design and

construction.

Green /Sustainable Design is key to all that we do and create for

clients and industry professionals if this is pertinent to the project.

It is important to note that we will also undertake projects that do

not engage a green ethos.

DIFFERENT?The passion we have for Architecture and contemporary design along with 23

years experience of working in private practice which we believe will bring a

different approach to projects working with the client to deliver buildings of

distinction with added value under the brand of Green Shoots Architecture.

We also bring the benefits of more cost effective fee structures based on my

lower overheads from a traditional practice but with a personnel service for

each new project.

We have extensive design / technical skills and a proven track record of

delivering complex and challenging projects from conception to completion.

We can successfully leads and motivates the architectural team to deliver high

quality completed schemes.

We have highly effective communication and networking skills with the ability to

engage clients, consultants, local authority planning, specialists and others,

which has resulted in a 100% success rate in gaining planning approval.
