For second consecutive year rotaractors from Europe, Asia and South America joined The Green

Week Project, iniciated by Rotaract Club Sofia Vitosha-Izgrev (D2482) and Rotaract Club

Thessaloniki Anatolia (D2484).

More than 25 clubs from Bulgaria,

Greece, Romania, India and Argentina became part of this green initiative by planting more than

500 trees.

Each club chose the most suitable area for planting – in or nearby the city, so that it makes

the best contribution for a greener future.

Each year the project gets more

popular and attracts broader audience.

We, the Rotaractors, believe that by giving a personal example and by particular actions; we can inspire people to care for the environmental issues and focus on the sustainable development topic.

Our efforts lead to long-term results on the environment that will ensure better quality of

life for the future generations.
