We encourage our students to make good choices when deciding their dress selecon, understanding the possibility of outdoor recess and P.E. classes. Hopefully that means there is a break in the winter weather we have been having and we can actually have Spring. My prayer for you is that this next week is a me of rest and relaxaon and lots of family me. For those that are traveling we pray safety for you. During our spring break me at Green Park, we will be busy. Three more rooms on the elementary wing will be geng new le floors, the HVAC people will be coming out to clean the heang/AC units in each room and replacing filters, and security cameras will be installed inside and outside the building. Shortly aſter returning from spring break, we will be starng achievement tesng, April 8-12. SCRIP NEWS The next Scrip Order will be entered on Friday, April 5. It will be delivered on Friday, April 12.

Scrip Profit Sheets went home recently to families who have accumulated at least $10 in Scrip Profits. They were sent home with the oldest child. Remember, if you do not wish to use your Scrip Profits at this time, they will roll over to next year. Families with 8th graders and no younger students, your Scrip Profits must be used or you forfeit them (unless you want to gift them to another family). They cannot be exchanged for cash.

SPRING TRAINING HAS BEGUN AND BASEBALL FEVER IS IN THE AIR! Join other Lutheran school families for Home Opening Weekend on Sunday, April 7 at 1:15pm as the Cardinals take on the San Diego Padres. We are partnering with the Lutheran High School Association for a special event -- Lutheran Schools Day at the Ballpark! Discounted tickets in the "Lutheran Schools Section" are just $25 each (face value $58). Sign-up to sit by friends by indicating the name of your school on the ticket order form AND earn money for our school through ticket sales! The first 30,000 fans, ages 16 and older, will receive a windbreaker, and all kids ages 15 and younger will receive a free ticket voucher valid for a regular-season home game during the 2019 season! The traditional Lutheran North vs. Lutheran South rivalry baseball game will immediately follow. Order online at this link by March 27. LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION TO HOST CONCORDIA CHOIR Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will be hosting Concordia Wisconsin’s choir, Kammerchor, for a Free Concert on Saturday, March 23, at 7pm. For more information call (314)843-6633.

SUMMER CAMP AT PEACE Peace Lutheran Church will be offering a summer camp beginning on May 29th for children ages 5 to 12. There will be several field trips, sports, games and crafts. LUTHERAN SOUTH LANCERETTES TRYOUTS The Lutheran South Lancerettes with be hosting tryouts for their 2019-20 squad. Clinic and Tryouts are April 23 through April 25 from 4:00-6:00pm. Attendance is required at all three dates. Please bring jazz shoes, black leggings, and a t-shirt. Dance experience is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn is most important. JOB OPENING AT LESA The Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA) is seeking a part-time Communication Specialist to develop and maintain all community outreach activities. The ideal candidate will represent LESA and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase LESA’s visibility within the community through messaging, promotion, and resource development. Qualifications include Christian individual holding bachelor’s degree with minimum of two-years’ experience in a nonprofit agency; experience with or knowledge of Lutheran education a plus, excellent inter- and intra- personal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time-management skills, with the ability to be responsible and take initiative with minimal supervision, and strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.
