It is a goal of TREEC to position Texas as a leader in renewable and sustainable energy commercialization through education.

The Texas Wind Texas Wind Energy Institute Energy Institute is developing curriculum, course and programs; expanding capacity and recruiting and preparing students to meet the workforce need of the rapidly growing wind power industry in Texas.
The vision of the Texas Wind Energy Institute is to position Texas as the leader in technical, managerial and professional education for the Wind Power industry.
