Texas Renewable Texas Renewable Energy Education Energy Education Consortium Consortium is to investigate, develop, and teach curricula dedicated to post-secondary education in emerging energy technologies to meet the demand of the Texas Workforce. It is a goal of TREEC to position Texas as a leader in renewable and sustainable energy commercialization through education.

These new programs will involve students in power technology and nuclear power certificate programs as well as in existing programs in nuclear, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering, and engineering technology.
