Zeus

• Zeus was the Greek god of the heavens, King of the Gods, and the sky. He commanded everything because he was King of the Gods.

Hermes

Hermes was the messenger of the gods. He was the god of merchants, thieves, and luck.

Athena

• Athena was the goddess of wisdom, arts and crafts, and war. She also had a pet owl.

Hera

• Hera was the queen of the gods. She was married to Zeus and had 6 children with him. Hera favored peacocks very much.

Aphrodite

• She was the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Zeus told her to marry Hephaestus, but since he was so ugly, she refused. Instead, she had an affair with Ares.

Hephaestus

He was the god of fire and smiths. He helps the Cyclopes forge Zeus’ lightning bolts. His forge is located in a volcano.

Apollo

Apollo was the Greek god of the sun, medicine, and music. His white cows were stolen by Hermes.

Hades

• Hades was the Greek god of the underworld. He stole Persephone, Demeter's daughter, and made her his husband.
