Each polis had an acropolis
and an agora
and temples to their gods
The temples were built in a similar style
And there were 3 main column types
Doric
Ionic
Corinthian
They had the same language
Writing it using an alphabet
Where did the Idea come from?
Why is it called an “alphabet”?
They traded the same items
Olive oil
and wine
And these items were packaged in pottery
They worshiped the same gods
And took part in the Olympic games
