We have affectionately called this our “Greatest Hits,” but we are tempted to boldly add “So Far,” because, of course, we always have something in the works! In this volume, we are pleased to share with you some of our favorite furnishings in their native Brooklyn habitat!

Think Fabricate is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2009. We provide design solutions for better living, learning, and community through furniture, product, graphic and industrial design. Our common ground is commitment to teamwork, research, and an on-going exploration of function, detail, and character in our work. Each piece is handcrafted in our East Wiliamsburg, Brooklyn, fabrication shop using natural wood, applied color, meaningful visual motifs and modern forms. We are proud to bring the human element, genuineness, appreciation of material, and the inclusive spirit that grows from our Brooklyn roots to the process and design of all our furnishings, which include seating, chests, mirrors, wall-mounted storage units, and wall panel systems.

SUSAN DOBAN

Susan enjoys her offi ce’s unique location between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and is happy when she fi nds the time to walk to work or better yet across the bridge, but she loves to come back to her Park Slope home where furniture experiments abound.

JASON GORSLINE

Jason started his New York adventure in Williamsburg and now calls Bushwick home. He can walk to our shop where these beautiful pieces are created by hand under his guidance. He enjoys immersing himself in design, taking a breathe of fresh air when he walks his dog after work, and occasionally fi nds the time in between everything else to go fi shing or out of town.

BROOKLYNNESS

Openness to ideas, viewpointsm and background defi nes “Brook-lynness” and is at the heart of our collaborative zeal. In our work, ideas borne of diverse individual, culturalm and generational per-spectives inform each other as much as ideas which stem from the different professinal viewpoints.
