WARREN TOWNSHIP HOMEFEST
Join us for our district-wide celebration this evening. Events include our an-
nual Fun Run, carnival games for the kids, vendor booths, food trucks and the
football game. It’s a great night of entertainment sponsored by the Warren
PTA Council and the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township.
PRINCIPAL’S POINT: Good evening families, I want to start off by reminding you that Parent/Teacher Conference forms came home today. Please have those returned to your child’s teacher by Wednesday so they can get all of their students scheduled as soon as possible. Also, I want to remind you that the next late start will be this Wednesday, Sept. 14th. Buses will be running one hour later than normal. Finally, our school will be participating in the statewide Digital Citizenship Week starting Monday. Classes will be doing different activities focused around digital citizenship throughout the week and the whole school will be creating a school wide digital citizenship banner that will be hung in the school. We would love for your family to participate by: 1. Watch this video with tips for cultivating digital citizenship within your home. https://www.commonsensemedia.org/videos/learning-with-technology 2. Create your own guidelines around using media and technology in your home.
Sincerely, Lance Schnaus
THANK YOU ROOM 13!
Students in Mrs. Carleton’s room 13 showed respect for our Earth! On the way in
from recess we noticed a lot of trash. After our math lesson we went outside to
clean up Grassy
Creek! The
kids were so
eager
to
help!

Medication
This applies to all over-the-counter and prescription medicines (cough drops, lotions, Tylenol, Advil, cough medicines, etc.)--All medication must be transported to and from school by a parent or other designated adult. Absolutely no medication is to come to school in students’ backpacks or lunch boxes! When your child needs to take medi-cation at school, you need to bring his/her own supply in the original bottle to school. Once at school, the parent/guardian will need to complete a permission form to allow us to dispense the medication at school.
In keeping with the Warren Township policy, any medicine that comes to school must remain at school until picked up by a parent or other designated adult. NO MEDICA-TION WILL BE SENT HOME ON THE BUS.
