New Oasis International Education is cur-rently recruiting highly motivated students to join our Student Engagement Committee for the 2017-18 school year. The process of adjusting to a new school, family life and culture can present a host of challenges for internation-al students, no matter what their background. The New Oasis Student Engagement Committee will play a vital role in helping students overcome

these obstacles through a variety of different student-led initiatives and projects. The Engagement Committee will focus on several key areas to help students thrive, includ-ing fellowship and community, mental health awareness, life ski l ls training, and peer mentorship.

Take advantage of the oppor-tunity to get involved in your international student communi-ty and apply to become a mem-ber of the Student Engagement Committee today!

CUSTOMER SERVICE KEYPAD The keypad located in your customer service office controls most of the security devices

in the store. These are grouped under “area 1.” You should only need to arm this area during Christmas close.

There are four other “areas” that are controlled from this keypad: o “Area 4” controls the 24hr. doors. o “Area 5” controls the garden center doors and gates. o “Area 6” controls the GM entry area. o “Area 7” controls the deli entry area

ARMING THE 24HR. DOORS 1. From the customer service keypad: Example [picture 4]

press [CMD] [5] [0], enter your PASSCODE and press [ENTER]. Press [4] and press [Enter], then press [Go to area]

2. Enter your PASSCODE and press [ENTER]. Example [picture 2]

3. The doors will arm instantly and the below screen should show. Example [picture 5] Press the [ESC] button to get back to the main menu.

ARMING AND DISARMING THE GARDEN CENTER Follow the above steps you used for the 24hr. doors.

o However, enter [5] for the area. Note: The Garden Center area is preset to arm at 10:30 each night. Please ensure you have exited this area by then. It is preset to disarm at 6:00 each morning. . However, the above steps can be used to arm and disarm them manually.

ARMING AND DISARMING THE GM ENTRY AREA Follow the above steps you used for the 24hr. doors.

o However, enter [6] for the area.

Note: The GM entry area is preset to arm at 11:15 each night. Please ensure you have exited this area by then. It is preset to disarm at 5:45 each morning. However, the above steps can be used to arm and disarm them manually.

ARMING AND DISARMING THE DELI ENTRY AREA Follow the above steps you used for the 24hr. doors.

o However, enter [7] for the area.

ARMING THE CASH OFFICE 1. Ensure that all doors are closed and that everyone has exited the cash office.

You cannot arm the system if any of the devices are being tripped, including motion detectors.

2. The keypad should display the message

“A-3: Off. Cash office Ready to turn on”

3. If it shows the message “Not ready to turn on” please proceed to the Not Ready To Arm section

4. Enter your PASSCODE and press [ENTER]. Example [picture 2]

5. This will arm the cash office instantly.

 

DISARMING THE CASH OFFICE 1. You should see text on the keypad.

2. Enter your PASSCODE and press [ENTER] to disarm. This will disarm the pharmacy instantly.

BYPASSING A POINT If you need to bypass a point that is faulted in order to arm the rest of the system: Enter your PASSCODE on the main screen and hit [ENTER]. You will get a screen telling you that the area is not ready to arm. It will then change to the below screen. Press [FORCE ARM]. This will arm the system and bypass the faulted points.

You are allowed a maximum of 10 bypassed points on the main store area, and only 1 bypassed point in the other areas.
