Achievements
The Westgate Division of General Practice is an independently
managed government funded organisation whose key role is to facilitate
communication and programs linking communities, general practitioners
and government funding bodies.
Melbourne, 2001 – Current Eworx, Austria, is an e-based and print media advertising company
catering to the needs of medium to large corporate clients, including
Ekey, subsidary of Voest Alpine, Austria’s largest corporate entity.
Achievements
Enhanced the quality and focus of promotional material, including
flyers, newsletters and brochures, targeted at divisional members,
resulting in greatly increased response and participation in divisional
events.
Total redesign of company website from concept to final product,
resulting in greatly increased profile of division events and services
and consequent response to programs and initiatives.

Design layout, theme and content of annual reports for executive
management producing a cohesive readily assimilated product,
leading to very effective communication of all aspects of company
reporting.
Effective advertising product delivery from initial client contact,

Design of Ekey’s first website from client concept development,
through design and implementation to delivery, resulting in improved

All articles are collected and then relevant images are procured to
reflect the nature of these articles. This stage is done through a series
of drafts to best position text, images and assist in readability. This
process is done using Photoshop and InDesign.
Initial stages of annual reports involve the generating of themes relevant to topics covered in the report. This involves a collaborative effort of staff so that the final document is representative of the division as a whole.

Planning:
Articles are sent via email or fax and are evaluated according to their size and priority before commencing layout. This is done independently. Other Front-Covers
Publishing:
Font, text, colour scheme and images are developed during this process
after appropriate layout is determined. A template is often used to keep
consistency and predictability of design to assist our regular recipients of
newsletters. This process is done using Photoshop, FreeHand and
InDesign.

This process is usually done on a one-on-one basis between graphic
designer and program coordinator. These products advertise
government or council initiatives, therefore are required to be ‘eye-
catching’ to attract GPs, patients and the community at large.

Program officers have a great amount of input to the design and the
role of the graphic designer is to convey their expertise. Surveys and
market research are discussed between program officer and designer
to generate the most appropriate layout. This process is done using
Photoshop, FreeHand InDesign and Dreamwaver.
Once establishing the target group, posters are planned according to the age and demographic they are trying to reach. Posters, websites and booklets are planned in the same format to give them a consistent style that is easily identifiable.
