The SBA has a couple notable events going on this week. First, the SBA is hosting our first Student Action Committee meeting this Thursday, January 24th at 12:00 PM in Bannan 241. There, we will hear progress reports from committee leaders and set "next-step" action items for our Spring 2013 agenda. All students are welcome to attend the meeting and the Student Action Committee agenda can be found online here:

Legislative Committee Drafting Session

The Legislative Drafting session will commence with a discussion of Professor Hseih's memo and current proposals by members (found on Committee page, see left). The Committee will then break into smaller groups to complete the proposed amendment to the Constitution or revision to the By-Laws. At the end of the meeting a short brief will be given by each group. Final drafts will be prepared over the week and a presentation of the final proposal will be made to the Committee the following Friday. Presentation of the agreed upon proposal will then be made to the Board of Governors Monday, 2/4.
