14 April 2018 - Saturday: Arrival at Sofia Airport, meeting by Velislava Chilingirova; transfer to central part of the capital for 1 night in la hotel. Dinner in restaurant or sandwiches

(depends on arrival time).

15 April 2018 - Sunday: Breakfast in the hotel; walk around the historical part of the city center of Sofia (Roman and Medieval); lunch in the city. Transfer to Troyan by minibus – about 2,5 hours. Arrival in Drashkova Polyana village (14 km from Troyan) and accommodation in EcoArt guest house for 2 nights. Work with clay – making ceramics. Dinner.

16 April 2018 - Monday: Visit to Troyan Crafts Museum and discussion with curators about crafts heritage and contemporary development of traditional crafts. Lunch in the town. Visit to Troyan Monastery and National Crafts exhibition in Oreshak – training in pyrography. Dinner in the guesthouse or in local tavern.

17 April 2018 - Tuesday: Driving to Devetaki Plateau; a cultural stop in Lovech (district town), visit to Museum of Water (renovated Turkish bath) and fortress. Lunch in the town, walk across the historical covered bridge with many souvenir shops of local craftsmen. Visit to Devetaki cave on the road; arrival in Gorsko Slivovo village and accommodation in Bilkarskata guest house for 1 night. Making jewellery. Dinner with homemade meals.

18 April 2018 - Wednesday: In the morning – meeting people from the village Cultural center and discussion about traditional events (festivals). Drive to Nicopolis ad Istrum (Roman city from 2 c. AD) and Veliko Tarnovo (Medieval capital and craft center). Lunch and free time. Driving to Gabrovo-Etara dinner and 1 night in hotel.

19 April 2018 - Thursday: Visit to Etara ethnographic complex (www.etar.bg) and Open-air museum - a guided tour and training in crafts (decoration with braids). Lunch in Etara. Travel through Shipka pass (visit to monument of Liberty) and stop at Kosmatka Thracian tomb near Kazanlak. Accommodation in a hotel in Hissarya for 2 nights and dinner in

local restaurant.

20 April 2018 - Friday: Breakfast in the hotel and a tour around Roman Dioclecianopolis, visit to archaeological museum and Roman baths. Lunch in the town, in the afternoon – visit to Thracial temples in Starosel and to local winery + wine tour; a farewell dinner.

21 April 2018: Transfer by minibus to Sofia Airport and fly back home.
