Descriptive Adjectives/Proper Adjectives

• Adjectives – describe a person, place or thing• Types of adjectives: limiting adjectives, demonstrative

adjectives, and possessive adjectives• Descriptive adjectives – sometimes answer “What kind?”• Often, they come before the person, place, or thing.

Proper Adjectives

• Common adjectives are formed from common nouns and don’t need a capital letter.
