COLLEGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT GRADUATION GIFT
In appreciation of the 2020 College of the Environment graduating class, the College is partnering with the Campus Sustainability Fund to help fund the Precious Plastic Project in partnership with UW Recycling to build a plastics recycling workshop in the Maple Hall Area 01 Maker Space, which will reduce plastic waste on campus, help UW Recycling meet its goal of 70% waste diversion by 2020, and educate students about plastic waste and recycling. Recognizing our students are the next generation of leaders in environmental science and decision-making, we believe this is a contribution that showcases our collective commitment to the sustainability and the well-being of our campus, our community and our planet.
