GRADUATE PROFILES
On successful completion of the Graduate Diploma students will have the ability to:
• Adapt and apply specialised technical knowledge and skills in a major subject area and to other business fields.
• Acquire and apply new knowledge and skills relative to business and management, as an individual and collaboratively. Acquire and analyse information from a variety of sources and communicate complex ideas orally and in writing within a range of business contexts.
• Apply critical and creative thinking skills in an organised approach to problem-solving and decision making within a chosen major.
• Apply awareness of diverse cultural contexts in interaction with others in those contexts.
• Apply innovative, creative and entrepreneurial approaches to business development and issues.
• Assess and apply ethical awareness, social responsibility and sustainable practices within the workplace and community.
• Apply awareness of constantly changing global perspectives in relation to a major subject area with strategic thinking and adaptability.
ENTRY CRITERIA
A three-year Bachelor degree or Equivalent study
Or work experience, which means a minimum of three years in one industry/business with evidence of managing people and budgets.
Students enrolling in the Accounting strand need to have completed a three year Bachelor degree that includes a minimum of 15 credits in Introductory Accounting or Accounting Principles.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
IELTS 6.0 Academic (with no band score lower than 5.5) or equivalent.

The award title will include the named strand. Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Management (GDABM) (strand).
To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Management (GDABM) (strand) students must successfully complete 120 credits for each strand as listed below, including Industry Project A and Industry Project B.
