Assessment Centre Development & Implementation When developing an assessment centre we recognise there is not a ‘one type fits all’ assessment centre therefore, we pay particular attention to each individual client in order to truly understand the best way to approach their needs. It’s important for us to understand the client at both a corporate and a departmental level to ensure all key stakeholders receive the best in quality service. Our standard process for a fully outsourced assessment centre solution covers 4 key stages: 1st Stage - Planning:

Consultation with the client to determine o Objectives such as targeted number of hires, specialist areas, timescales, budgets o Agreement on points of contact to manage the overall project o Development of a strong understanding of the culture, values and beliefs from a

corporate perspective

Line Manager Meetings to determine o Comprehensive understanding of individual departments / teams o Expectation relating to skills and abilities of potential hires

2nd Stage - Development:

Conduct job analysis for all positions to be hired for to formulate a clear set of competencies/behavioural indicators.

Identify simulations and devise appropriate exercises that simulate key elements of the target job/organisational level.

Design the assessment centre, integrating a number of exercises to measure the range of defined competencies.

Prepare the format, timetable and logistics for the Assessment Centres

Design and implement the training to be provided to assessors and facilitators, involved in the process.

3rd Stage - Implementation:

If possible, run a pilot assessment centre on diverse pool of individuals to ensure the components operate effectively, fairly and the process as a whole operates according to the timetable.

Run the Centre with candidates/participants, including on-going quality checking.

4th Stage – Post Implementation:

Assistance in making decisions according to the outcomes of the assessment centre.

Delivery of assessment centre feedback to candidate/participants

Where appropriate, offer organisational-level feedback on common development needs.

Set up procedures to review and monitor outcomes and development of overall assessment centre programme.

As with all of our flexible solutions, you can choose to outsource individual aspects of the assessment centre design and delivery. For example we can design your assessment centres and then train your internal teams to be able to deliver the assessment centres themselves. Alternatively we could provide you with trained individuals to participate in role plays and assessments during the assessment day itself. In addition we offer flexibility with our payment plans; you can choose to pay for a complete service up-front, pay in instalments or pay upon successful completion of a project dependent on the services you choose.
