Home Reading
The weather is getting nicer and the kids
are out playing more. Great!
Try to keep a
designated time
for reading at
home, whether it
be before bed,
after supper,
before supper, in
the morning, or
after breakfast.
March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day!
Students will partake in some afternoon activities that celebrate this day. They can
wear green or orange too.
Thank you to the designated families this month, for bringing in
snacks!
Winter Carnival was a big success. The kids enjoyed ice sculptures,
snowshoeing, crafts, face painting, a wiener roast, a selfie scavenger
hunt, snowman building relay, problem solving and just hanging out,
building relationships and celebrating our awesome school!

Mrs. Knoppers has planned a great day! Students can purchase a mini pie at lunch for
$1.00, can participate in the memorization contest, AND can bring in $2.00 to mush a pie in
a teacher’s face! All funds raised will go towards Mrs. Knopper’s Foods Program.
If you buy your milk, cream or
juice in cartons. Please rinse
them out and donate them to
school for our building units!
Please continue to
send your child to
school with either ski
pants or splash pants
as they still play in the
snow
and get
wet.
Remember to
pack a healthy
morning snack
for your child,
fruit and veggies
for example.
Data Duotangs will go home in the next two
weeks, once AR goals are adjusted and math

and look through their progress together!
Praise progress over perfections.
