Jesus is the Son of God

God the Father sent his Son, Jesus, to be with us

• God loves us very much.• He gives us many gifts.• Jesus is the Son of God.

The Holy Family

• After Jesus was born, he lived with his mother, Mary, and his foster father, Joseph.

• Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are the Holy Family.

Jesus is Human Like Us

• When he was about 30, Jesus began to teach in many places. He wanted everyone to know that they could share in God’s love.

Jesus told the people:

• God loves all people.• God wants all people to love God, themselves, and others.• God is their Father.• God should be the most important one in their lives.

Jesus taught us how serve others and how to pray

• Jesus taught people to do what he did:– He fed the hungry.– He comforted those who were sad or lonely.– He took care of the poor.

Jesus Used Stories to Teach

• Jesus used parables to teach.• Parables are short stories.

Jesus did things only God can do

• Jesus is the Son of God.• Divine is a word we used to describe God.

Jesus, the Son of God, taught us about God the Father and God the Holy Spirit

There is Only One God.There are Three Persons in One God.
