THE LORD’S SUPPER

Here our Lord gives to us His own Body and Blood

for the forgiveness of all our sins

Our Grace Family celebrates The Lord’s Supper on the 1st

and 3rd

Sundays of the month, confessing that our Lord feeds us with His

very body and blood for our forgiveness.

Please read carefully:

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at Grace in the confession and glad confidence

that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but

His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to

strengthen our union with Him and one another.

Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin, and

set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us, that

they may show forth His death until He comes.

Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do

so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the

faith which is confessed at the Altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt

or who hold a confession differing from that of Grace and The Lutheran

Church - Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, are

asked first to speak with the Pastor or an Elder.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies

An in-depth look at 1 Corinthians unwrapping how Paul dealt

with the struggles of the believers in the church in Corinth.

Place: Worship area

Time: 9:45am

Facilitator: Pastor Majeski

Although the author of Hebrews is anonymous, his message is

clear: our Lord Jesus Christ is perfect and superior to anyone or

anything found in Judaism's old covenant. With early Christians under

severe persecution, he urges them not to turn away from Christ’s

message of salvation.

Place: Conference Room

Time: 9:45am

Facilitator: Kevin Hendricks

2016 CONFIRMANDS

We pray for our Confirmands: Lord, we thank you that the Confirmands have committed their lives to You. We pray You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Please help us, as their Church family, to encourage them and pray for them as they trust in You. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Ava Antonelli - John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people,

he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have

the light of life.”

Katrina Bellman - John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jack Gorski - 2 Peter 3:18

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory

both now and forever! Amen.

Logan Iafrate - Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God

that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Faith Majeski - John 15:5

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you,

you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Jackson Malcolm - Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings

like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Elena Rowmaga - Isaiah 43:1

But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have

summoned you by name; you are mine.”

Dylan Sawitzky - Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Faith Silvey - John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him

shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Nick Stier - John 10:27-28 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life,

and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

Trevor Stier - Psalm 23:1

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

Benjamin Weber - Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves,

it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
