Life can be a vibrant intersection of age, energy, and enthusiasm.

We are continually blessed by the energetic and caring spirit that area youths bring to St. Ann’s. They complement groups and very talented adults who share their personal or professional talents and inherent ability to entertain or inspire.

Students who visit from area elementary and high schools, or the local colleges, bring a unique and boundless energy. Their smiles, gifts, and laughter are joyous moments of pure grace.

We thank each of them for their time, inspiration, and love for our residents.

Dear Friends,

As Carmelite Sisters, we commit to a way of life in which prayer and apostolic ser-vice in the Church blend harmoniously.

I see evidence of another, grace-filledharmony every day at St. Ann’s.

Our staff, who dedicate themselves to tender and meaningful care for our resi-dents, are directly supported by the gifts you give. Your gifts work in directharmony with their dedication.

Your generous donations - whether given in memory of a loved one, to support our ministries or activities, or to bolster oper-ations - are evidence of Grace in action.

Many have said that grace arrives in sur-prising ways. Through prayer and being aware, you can learn to recognize God at work in your life. One of the surest signs of God’s grace: a feeling of gratitude and a desire to give to others.

We thank you on these pages, especial-ly those who provided us with grace through gifts last year. And we thank you for the amazing gifts you have already given this year.

We continue to pray, as Carmelite Sisters commit to do, for each of you, and that you will receive and feel God’s grace in your lives.

Sister M. Gabriela, CDCJAssistant Director

The West Cath-olic High School women’s service group is one of many who make an annual visit to St. Ann’s, do-nating time and talents.

These young women distribute Christmas gifts to every resident.

St. Ann’s continues to be blessed by dedicated, generous and loving benefactors.

In fact, one donor has taken the lead role in a new Memory Garden project, allowing the Carmelite Sisters, the Advisory Board, and the Leadership Team to continue with detailed plans to create a safe outdoor space for Memory Care residents in the Nursing Unit.

The Memory Garden will be an entirely new, multi-sensory, green space with sun, shade, and plantings that will enhance the lives of our Memory Care residents.

Daily Mass: A Spiritual

FoundationYou Support

Daily Mass at St. Ann’s is more than routine.

Annually, more than 85 percent of our residents are Catholic. For each, the chance to participate in Mass, pray the Rosary, and attend seasonal liturgies is paramount and enriching.

While St. Ann’s Chapel life may appear to be like that of a neighborhood parish, it is not exactly so.

It is a more of an informal

ygathering place; a fellowship of residents, family, and guests with shared beliefs.

Dozens of you who attend - committed stewards - give countless gifts marked simply “Chapel Masses.” Similarly, scores give gifts in memory of former residents.

Quietly and without fanfare, you generously support the ongoing mission of the Car-melite Sisters and spiritual care of our residents. Thank you for your support.

Residents, their relatives, and neighborhood friends find St. Ann’s Chapelan inviting and inspiring spiritual retreat during daily Mass.

Anchoring a Vibrant Life Enrichment Program

Any day at St. Ann’s finds the Holy Family Center, the Dining Room, and the Nursing Unit Activity Room buzzing.

While the foundation of this lively monthly calendar is set by the Life En-richment Team, it is boosted by you: volunteers, family members, and donors.

The Holy Family Center sound system upgrade has enhanced dozens of events since its 2018 installation.

Your generous gifts of time, talent and treasure provide an enthusiasm so evident in the faces of our residents.

We vow to remain good stewards of your friendship and generos-ity, evidenced by the donations and in-kind gifts that allowed us to install a state-of-the art sound system and multi-media screen in the Holy Family Center.

Thank you for helping bring mu-sic, entertainment, and daily joy to our grateful residents.

Friends and Donors,

Here at St. Ann’s, we live in a joyful intersection of life, faith and grace.

Every day we are allowed to be an integral part of the lives of those residents who choose to make St. Ann’s home.

We are supported by faith, which radiates from each of the Carmelite Sisters and which is enhanced at Mass, liturgies, bible studies, and through the support of Diocesan priests and Bishop David J. Walkowiak.

And more than anything, we are blessed by grace, which flows from those of you who support our residents by your gifts of time, talent and treasure.

Nearly 400 individuals and families gave financial gifts in 2018. Each gift was the result of an important decision to do something significant, lasting and grace-filled.

Ultimately, each gift becomes an expression of love that graces the lives of our residents. Thank you for your support, your faith, and your grace.
