The students of Grace Christian
School have been collecting
food to prepare Thanksgiving
boxes for needy families. If you
have not participated, please
prayerfully consider helping in
this worthy cause. Our goal is to
provide a Thanksgiving meal to
give to as many families as
possible. Our JH students will
be boxing these food items to
make Thanksgiving Meal Boxes
on this Friday afternoon, Nov.
20th. If you would prefer to
make a cash donation, that
would be great—we will use
the cash donations to purchase
scrip cards in your name and
buy the needed supplies to fill
these boxes. May God bless
you and your family during the
Thanksgiving holiday.

School started a program of
recognizing specific charac-
ter traits in our students.

to develop our students into
adults of tomorrow who will

Our new Instrumental Music
Teacher, Ms. Hancock, is a great role model for persever-
ance. This past weekend she
ran 13.1 miles in the Silver Strand 1/2 Marathon in San
Diego on Coronado Island.
Her 99 year old great-
grandma who lives on the
island was there to cheer her
on and her dad flew in from
Georgia to run the entire race
with her. We are proud of her
and this awesome accom-
plishment! Ms. Hancock is a
fantastic addition to our GCS
staff. We love her energy and
her enthusiasm for teaching all
of her students music!.
