Teams of educators from 15 schools coming together to develop performance tasks within their content areas.

Feb 2011 Educators will return with student work to assess workusing rubrics.

Regional Training Los Angeles

Purpose: To network with other educators within the ISSN network within your content area to design a task.

Driving Questions: How do I use the GPS performance outcomes in my content area to help my students become both globally competent and college ready?

prepares students to deeply understand and participate in the world and their future beyond graduation.

• Evening dinner with site visit team and school leadership– Introduce Matrix– Stakeholder Interviews

• Day 1– Classroom observations– Stakeholder interviews

• Day and Night 2– Classroom observations– Stakeholder interviews– Rating conversations– Writing of the Report

• Day 3– Unanswered and follow-up questions– Finish the report– Present the report to staff
