Over the past 20 years, Nanda has been serving the Kandhamal

district of India, by providing physical, spiritual, emotional and

educational needs of it’s poor and/or orphaned children. Below is

a picture of Hemant, who has been in India over the past six

weeks, surrounded by our former Nanda children. Many of whom

have graduated from high school and some have received college

degrees. Several now have their own children. This picture is a

testimony of the work God is doing through GPMO.

Your financial support is spent predominantly on food, shelter

and education for the children of Nanda. We also have the

privilege of supporting 23 tribal pastors, along with providing food

and medicine in the surrounding communities.

Daringbadi Mega Church

Construction on the Daringbadi Mega Church

was started in December 2018. It was

completed in December 2019, just in time for

Christmas celebrations. This church will be the

headquarters for the tribal and village pastors

throughout the region. It will also allow for large

church gatherings and worship services with a

seating capacity of approximately 1,000 people.

This church will also help build unity and faith in

the Christian communities of Kandhamal. This

church represents the largest church built in the

entire Kandhamal district.

Two New Churches for Orissa…

Construction on Kadapanga

Church

Kadapanga (DAHU) Church

Construction on Kadapanga-DAHU started in

December 2019 and was inaugurated on

January 20. The pastor is Nabaghan Pradhan.

This vibrant, Christian community has been

waiting and praying for this church to be built.

Over 600 people attended the church’s

dedication and first worship service.

Outside of Nanda...

Belghar Tribal Mobile Clinic

We serve with medicinal care to unreachable

pockets of Belghar and other deep jungle

areas. Thousands of people have benefitted

from this project .

Leprosy Colony

We continue to support the

leprosy village with food

and medicine on a monthly

basis. As we care for this

community of marginalized

and forgotten members of

society, we have the great

opportunity to reflect the

goodness and grace of our

God in tangible ways.

$20 per month will cover the cost of

housing, clothing, food, schooling and

medical care for each child.

Sponsor a Pastor

$35 per month can make a significant

impact for an indigenous pastor and

congregation.

Meet Sikha Majhia Seth

Sikha is a 13 year old 5th grader living at Nanda since

2015. She came to Nanda from Pidamaha, a nearby

village, after her mother passed away and her father

was sentenced to life in prison. Sikha is one of our

top students at Nanda and loves to study and help her

sisters with school. She was awarded a scholarship

for academics by her school. Sikha starts each day

with singing Christian songs of praise and then does a

devotional.

We continue to look for ways to become

self-sufficient.
