  Implanon insertion (excludes prescription cost): €120,this includes: 1.Pre-insertion counselling (20 mins.

  Blood test (children 4 - 14yrs): €25 

  Childhood immunisation: free (under Primary ChildhoodImmunisation Scheme)

  Anti-tetanus vaccination: €25 (incl. cost of vaccine) 

  Other injectable treatments: €20 (per session) 

  Dressing clinic (new wound): €50* (if no suture is

required)

  Dressing clinic (follow-up): €20 (per session)* 

(*) includes cost of materials, work & diet advice for optimal

wound healing

  Sutures (stitches) & staples removal: €40 

  Bereavement support: €50 (3 sessions) 

  Inhaler technique: €20 

  Insuline injection technique: €20 

  Heparin ( eg. Innohep®) injection technique: €20 

  Depo- provera® injection with the nurse: €35 (incl. blood

 pressure check; excludes cost of medicine)

  Travel vaccination: €20 (per each vaccine, excludes cost of

vaccines)

From November 2013 (by appointment only):

  Ante-natal visits (midwife): €40 (free under  the Maternityand Infant Scheme)

  Ante-natal & Post-natal classes: €150* 

(*) consisting of 4 theoretical & practical sessions (90 mins. per

session) during the weekends; very useful for young mothers

(they will learn about "body changes during & immediately after

 pregnancy", "dos and don'ts during and after pregnancy", "breast

& bottle feeding explained", "nappy changing & nappy-related

conditions", and many other topics (future daddies are welcometogether with their partners).
