SiewHo Yeak | Facilitator Siewho is a Registered mental health and general nurse. He has worked extensively in the mental health field both in the UK and Australia. He was a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a number of years. He is the Area Coordinator of Multicultural Services for South Metropolitan Health Service, Mental Health Strategy and Leadership Unit in Perth, WA. Siewho has initiated the first mandatory MH Multicultural training in Australia and has initiated numerous community engagement projects bringing together non government and government organisations working in collaboration.

Professor Alexander John MBBS MD FRANZCPProfessor, School of Psychiatry & Clinical Neurosciences, University of Western Australia Consultant Psychiatrist & Clinical Lead, Sub Acute Stream, Bentley Health Service Clinical Experience as Consultant Psychiatrist - 27 years Academic psychiatrist - 14 yearsNumber of research papers in peer reviewed journals >20Areas of interest - psychopharmacology, management of treatment resistant schizophrenia, cognitive training in psychosis, clinical rehabilitation in psychosis.

Dr Elizabeth Moore Executive Director Mental Health Strategy and Leadership Unit, South Metropolitan Heath Service in Western Australia.Dr Elizabeth Moore is a Fellow of the RANZCP and has over twenty years’experience in acute inpatient and community settings across 3 different states in Australia. Dr Moore has an interest in interdisciplinary and interservice teaching and training to support person centred care in mental health services with their partner organisation including Community Managed Organisations and General Practice.

Dr Navneet JohriDr Navneet Johri trained as psychiatrist from India, worked as Consultant and Academic affiliated to VeerNarmad South Gujarat University for 3 years. Moved to WA in 2006 and working as Consultant Psychiatrist since 2008; Dr Johri has been involved with the South Metropolitan Multicultural Training committee for over 6 years delivering cultural competence training to staff, NGO’s and GPs’. This year he has stepped into part time private practice and works at Armadale Health Service.

Professor Mohan Isaac Professor Mohan Isaac is Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, The University of Western Australia, and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Fremantle Hospital, Fremantle, Australia. He was formerly Professor and Head of the oldest and largest academic Department of Psychiatry in India at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, where he is currently a Visiting Professor. His research interests include community mental health and delivery of mental health services, particularly in resource-poor settings. He is presently involved in a programme for “Capacity building for mental health care services, training and research in low and middle income Asian countries”.
