2021 Election of Four (4) Members to the Board

Election Notice Pursuant to section 9A(b) of the Lord Howe Island Act 1953 No 39 the Electoral Commissioner for New South Wales shall conduct an election for the purpose of determining the Islanders to be elected to the Lord Howe Island Board pursuant to section 4(3)(a) of the Act

Nominations

Nominations are hereby invited on and from Friday 15 January 2021 to elect four (4) members to the Board To be eligible for nomination a candidate must be an Islander as defined in the Lord Howe Island Act and be enrolled as an elector for the election A candidate at an election shall be nominated by at least 2 persons (other than the candidate) who -

(a) are enrolled as electors for the election and (b) have not by that nomination and any other previous nomination in respect of the Lord Howe Island Board

election nominated more candidates than there are persons to be elected ie four (4) persons Nomination forms are available from
