Tucson Audubon Society’s Finding Birds in Southeast Arizona, now in its seventh edition, is the go-to site guide for birders exploring this premier birding destination. Local birders and visitors alike consult this guidebook before, during, and after their birding trip. Spiral-bound for easy use on the road or in the field, this guide includes up-to-date information compiled by local experts on more than 150 birding sites, including species and habitat info, maps, driving directions and access instructions. Birders won’t leave home without it. We sell an average of 1000 copies each year through our own Tucson Audubon Nature Shops, nature preserve visitor centers and outdoor outfitters throughout the region, and online through our website and Amazon.com. Our inventory is running low and we are planning a new revised edition. Edition 7.1 will include updated maps and information on species and site access. It will be printed locally on recycled paper, using vegetable- based inks, and offset by wind energy. We plan a print run of 5000 copies for early 2011. We expect the revised edition to be on sale for up to five years, and in use for many more. This is perhaps your best opportunity to reach a highly motivated and targeted audience. When not looking for birds, many birders are thinking about looking for birds, and planning their next trip. What to eat, where to stay, and getting around are key components of a good birding strategy. Don’t miss out—advertise your services!
