Gospel Rising Music Festival takes place from May 12th – 14th, 2017

in Galway city. It is a not-for-profit, non-denominational festival of

gospel and community choral music featuring workshops from both

international and national stars of the genre, as well as city-wide

performances by the best gospel choirs in Ireland. Over a varied three-

day program, the festival will provide the perfect environment for

choirs to learn, share, collaborate, grow and find inspiration.

Ireland’s Festival City

Gospel Rising 2017 will be hosted by Ignite

Gospel Choir and the beautiful, vibrant West

End of Galway City. Iconic venues such as

Monroes and the Roisín Dubh will play host

to various day and nighttime performances,

while the Annual Festival Gala Concert on

the Saturday night will take place at the Black

Box Theatre.
