Gosford Hill School Congratulatesits’ 2020 A Level Students
Sixth Form students at Gosford Hill are celebrating their A Level
grades after what has been a challenging year. The students’ hard
work and dedication has resulted in 7% of all grades being A* and a
fifth of all grades being an A*/A, which is a tremendous result. We are
also very pleased that 41% of grades were A*-B, 76% were A*-C and
overall 98% were graded.
Special congratulations go to Sierra Herring, Aaron Wardley and
Hamish Munro who all achieved A*s and A grades. Sierra will be
studying Geography at LSE, Aaron is going to study Physics at the
University of Sheffield and Hamish will study Engineering at the
University of Warwick.

We are very pleased with our individual subject results. Students in
Further Maths performed particularly well with 50% achieving A*/A
grades! Computer Science students are also celebrating with 50%
achieving A/A* grades.
Sierra, Aaron and Hamish each achieved A* and A grades!
In Art we had 100% of students achieving A*- B and in Maths over a
third of students achieved an A/A* grades. Our students were naturally delighted
and all expressed their gratitude to their teachers. Hamish said “I am looking forward
to starting Uni at Warwick.” He added he was grateful to his teachers as “they were
really supportive and always available to help.” Liepa was “surprised and very happy
with her results”. Sierra thanked her teachers for all their hard work and is nervously
excited about going to University and her next steps.
We are very proud of our student’s achievements and wish them all the very best in their next steps in life. We
also want to thank family and friends for all of the support they gave our students while in our Sixth Form and
to all the staff who have worked tirelessly to support the students.
