The GTA's annual awards program isnow open for nominations! The twoannual awards categories are:-Tech Leader of theYear recognizing outstandingachievement n the part of anindividual or company that principallyprovides technology products,services, or support in the ColumbiaRiver Gorge.

-STEM Education Leader of the Year recognizing anindividual for outstanding contributions to STEM education inthe Columbia River Gorge. Nominations must be received by 5pm on November 8 tobe considered. The winners will be announced at the GTAWinter Party on December 10 at Solstice Pizza. One-Day Volunteers Needed!

The GTA hosts the annual youth roboticstournaments for grades 4th through 8thknow as FIRST LEGO League. We need

YOU to help volunteer for these fun, rewarding events. Norobotics experience necessary! There is a brief training onyour own time and then help for one or more days: Dec. 7 orDec. 8 in Hood River or Dec. 14 in The Dalles. Time is 8 a.m.to 3 p.m. on each day. Contact Jessica to ask how you canhelp.

Cascade Seed Fund is rebranding from Cascade Angels Fundand has held an initial close on the sixth fund since 2014 at$5.4 million.
