Self - Analtical Essay

Self-Analytical Essay I really do not know how I got started in yearbook. All I can really recall is getting like a recommendation slip. After I got the slip, I thought that I might as well give it a try because I had nothing else on my plate. I always wanted to know how the yearbook was made, so I decided to join the class. I have learned a lot by being on the yearbook staff for two years. Some of these examples include handling stress, working under pressure, being a part of something bigger than myself. I am not really sure how I was an asset to the staff. I just focused on my things and I did not really worry about anyone else. I tried to help in my section, but I felt that I was just slowing the process down, so I just let Chris handle everything. I felt that by removing my-self from the people sec-tion, things went by faster. Some other challenges I faced this year were working with other people. Mostly, the staffers I looked over did not take me seriously, so it was a challenge to get stuff done. I overcame these challenges by addressing Soleil and Andi, and them take on the issue. Overall, I felt like I handled the situation poorly because I could not handle my own section, I had to have Soleil and Andi do it poorly. Overall, I felt like these two years in yearbook have been valuable for me. I can use these skills in the future if I work in an offi ce environment.

For this project, I decided to make my theme power. I chose this theme because I knew I could do something with this theme and I knew no one else would choose it. I got the idea from the power symbol on the monitor when I was turning on the computer. For this theme, I wanted it to be a simple, yet bold. Something that has power is also bold. Everyone has power and needs power to live. I think power de-scribes what I wanted perfectly.

For this project, I decided to make my theme power. I chose this theme because I knew I could do something with this theme and I knew no one else would choose it. I got the idea from the power symbol on the monitor when I was turning on the computer. For this theme, I wanted it to be a simple, yet bold. Something that has power is also bold. Everyone has power and needs power to live. I think power de-scribes what I wanted perfectly.

This interrupter was one of the best pieces of work I have done in my two years of working with the Saugus High School Staff. Ms. Tolisano created the idea for me and I really liked it. This piece was really easy to create. The only hard part was getting the cobs proportional to the back-round picture. I really like this piece and I consider it to be one of my best pieces I have created this year. I like this interrupter, but it could definitely use some work. For starters, I would go back and fix the mountains on the page.
