Custom Metrics and Dimensions

• Custom  Metrics  (along  with  Custom  Dimensions)  replace  Custom  Variables  from  “Classic”  Analy>cs.    

• Custom  Metrics  and  Dimensions  are  able  to  be  used  in  standard  Universal  Analy>cs  Reports.  

• Can  be  used  to  add  columns  to  standard  repor>ng  for  offline  and  3rd  party  sources.    

• Fully  customizable  by  the  user.

•  Ifbyphone sends calls to Universal Analytics as Events. Not virtual pageview Goals.

•  Events are tied to the Google Client ID of the visitor.

•  Calls can now be viewed in line with other web based Events.

•  Calls can now be used as a conversion for Content Experiments.

•  Event based Goals can be set-up in Universal Analytics to pass conversions into Google Adwords

•  Ifbyphone’s Universal Analytics integration requires no change to existing SourceTrak JavaScript.

• Self set-up of Universal Analytics integration in the Ifbyphone portal.

• You can select either version of our Google integration on a number by number basis. Each number can only use one version at a time.
