Introduction to Yoga Nidra “A Mini-Retreat” Sunday, June 23 rd 1-4pm - $40 Yoga Nidra is a method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Based on the Tantras and developed more fully by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, yoga nidra utilizes a series of exercises that tap into the koshas (sheathes) and cultivate a state of almost-sleep, yet alertness (yoga = one-pointed focus + nidra= sleep). Yoga Nidra offers relief from insomnia, anxiety and general disease. Take a time out and experience this beautiful practice. In this workshop you will: experience several yoga nidra practices; learn about the koshas, a fundamental concept in hatha yoga; learn practical applications to your own life such as improving sleep hygiene, allowing opposites to co-exist, and cultivating the ability to remain deeply Lillian Rozin is a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, singer and writer. Lillian Rozin is a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, singer and writer. She teaches advanced seminars on subjects such as Yoga for Trauma, Insomnia, and Depression/Anxiety. She currently has a private practice and her own

studio, integrating body and mind work. Lillian has written a book (out soon!) called “After Aha”, which utilizes her diverse experience in

psychology, yoga and theatre to explore how people really change. Lillian holds degrees from The University of Pennsylvania, New York University

and Bryn Mawr College. Her yoga training includes Yoga on Main (Shiva Das), YogaLife Institute (Bob Butera), and many sessions at Kripalu.
