Transcript of Good morning and thank you for joining us at Enon Baptist...
Good morning and thank you for joining us at Enon Baptist Church today!
If you are our guest today, we are really glad you are here. We have a
gift for you at our guest table in the foyer of the sanctuary. Please stop by and
let us get to know you a little better.
Let me ask you a critical question: When was the last time you were
really quiet and still and took time to listen to the still, small voice of God?
Sure, you have conversations with Him about your loved ones, yourself, some
problem you are dealing with, etc., but when did you last get alone with your
Abba (Daddy) Father and His word?
God gives us His love without reservation and without condition and
He desires a relationship with us. Not a casual , “Hey, God, could you take care
of this?” relationship, but a “crying out with all your heart for His guidance”
RELATIONSHIP. When we make our prayers and our time with God casual we
can not hear what He has for us or what He wants of us. I would like to
challenge you to take time out every day to pour out to Him your love for what
God has done for you. Then, tell Him all the concerns and desires of your
heart. Then, just be still with Him for a time. Let Him speak to your heart
through His precious word. God loves you and cares for you and wants you to
know the depth of His mercy and grace. Let Him tell you.

It’s all about the Gospel…
No matter where you are or what you do, as a Christian,
the priority is the gospel. That’s why we send thousands of missionaries
across the US and Canada to share Christ with those who have no hope. With
over 273 million people in North America who don’t know Jesus, the need for
praying, giving, and going is still great. The mission is far from finished.
You can help by praying and giving…
We can join together during the Week of Prayer for North American
Missions which is March 1-8. On Sunday, March 1, we included in your
bulletins the prayer guide and the giving envelope for this year’s offering. The
prayer guide has stories about missionaries and their work and specific ways
for you to pray.
This past week, we hope you read about missionaries who answered the call
to leave their homes, families and even careers to go to an unfamiliar place
with people they didn’t know. You will discover their challenges and under-
stand the secret to going is their belief in the urgency of 1 Corinthians 15:3-4:
“I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for
our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on
the third day…” It’s all about sharing the gospel message with those who need
to hear.
We will have the ingathering on TODAY, March 8 and our church’s goal is
$7,000. Please be in prayer about what you and your family can give.
