the congregation shall rescue the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, to which he had fled, and he shall live in it until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.

But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the bounds of his city of refuge to which he fled, and the avenger of blood finds him outside the bounds of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slays the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood.

"Word of Faith"

"... the Word of Faith, which we preach." (Romans 10:8) "... the Word is near, even in your mouth, and in thy heart." (Romans 10:8), and "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10: 9) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the basis of everything that we receive from God, whether it is salvation, healing, financial blessing, or divine protection.

Isa 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.

"When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother,

`Dear woman, here is your son,'

and to the disciple,

`Here is your mother.'

From that time on, this disciple took her into his home"

(John 19:26-27).

4 & 5 Humanity of Jesus : Incarnation

J esus never t ook any Divine Power during his .lif e on earth

Php 2:6 -9 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.

Jesus was fully human. Yes, he was God in the flesh, but he was also subject to all the feelings of mind and body that any of us

feel. Jesus spoke these words

after three hours of darkness which covered the land. Jesus hung on the cross alone,

where he took our place to feel the pain and anguish that sin causes.

"Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:4-6).

Care

He has t aught us t o

Jas 2:14-16 What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit?

He has experienced all t he pain that we go through

Heb 5:7-9 In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear. Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through what he suffered; and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

Heb 2:14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same nature, that through death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

Reunion

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

We look f orward to be like him and with him

Joh 15:12-13 "This is my commandment, that you love one another

as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this,

that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
