Your Polaris 30™Telescope is named for the 50th brightest star in the sky – also known as the North Star. A navigator’s guide, it points true north. If you live in the USA or Canada, and find Polaris, you are facing north. Then you know how to go east, west, and south. Polaris also marks the end of the handle of the Little Dipper.
Using Your Polaris 30™ Telescope 1. Remove the dust cap from the lens.2. Point the telescope at the object you want to see.3. Place your eye just behind the eyepiece, not touching it.4. Slowly push or pull the eyepiece until the object you see is clear.5. Hold your telescope steady or everything you see will be shaky.

Votre télescope Polaris 30™ est nommé d’après la 50e étoile plus brillante du ciel – connue aussi sous le nom de l’Étoile du Nord ou l’Étoile polaire. Elle sert de guide aux navigateurs et indique le nord vrai. Si vous habitez aux É.U. ou au Canada, quand vous trouvez l’étoile Polaire, vous êtes orienté vers le nord. Vous savez alors où se trouve l’est, l’ouest, et le sud. L’étoile Polaire indique aussi l’extrémité de la Petite Ourse.

1. Enlevez le couvre-objectif de l’objectif.2. Dirigez le télescope vers l’objet que vous désirez regarder.3. Placez l’œil juste derrière l’oculaire, sans le toucher.4. Poussez ou tirez l’oculaire lentement jusqu’à ce que l’objet soit net.5. Tenez votre télescope fermement ou tout ce que vous regardez sera saccadé.
