Tournament Policies and Regulations



DRESS CODE

NO DENIM, cut-offs, tank tops, short shorts, sweat pants orswimsuits. Shirts must have a collar and metal spikes are notallowed.

SPEED OF PLAY

Slow play will not be tolerated. The course marshal is directed toremind groups when play is slow. A maximum 51/4- hour roundis expected. Slow groups may be asked to pick up their balls tocatch up with the group ahead of them. Any groups exceeding5.25 hours may be subject to an additional charge and/orimmediate completion of play.

ETIQUETTE

Please remind your group to observe proper golf etiquette.Repair ball marks, fix divots, rake traps etc. All adjacent propertyis off limits to golfers. The organizing group accepts responsibilityfor any damages to the golf course or other property caused bythe group or any of its members.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

All food and beverages consumed at Lynx Ridge must bepurchased from our concessions. AGLC laws require thatalcoholic beverages can only be served after 10AM. Outside &/ordonated food and beverages are not allowed without writtenpermission from Lynx Ridge. Host tabs, drink coupons, baglunches, snacks, etc. may be arranged through Lynx Ridge.Excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages is not allowed. Whennecessary, rides should be arranged after the banquets. As thetournament organizer(s), you are responsible for your groupmembers who drink and drive. The banquet dinners are servedafter the golf unless otherwise specified. Lunches and breakfastsmay be added to the package (see Lynx Option Menu).

SPONSORED ALCOHOL HOLES

In accordance with AGLC law 5.15, all beverages must bepurchased through Lynx Ridge and served by a Lynx Ridgeemployee with “Pro Serve” certification. Arrangements forsponsored holes must made in advance through our food andbeverage manager. Staffing charges may be in effect and allpricing is per drink pricing and is subject to GST and an 18%gratuity.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE A $500.00 CHARGEIF THERE IS OUTSIDE LIQUOR FOUND AT YOUR EVENT.

WEATHER

The tournament will not be cancelled due to cold and/orinclement weather. Only the Lynx Ridge management determineswhen and if to cancel play due to weather. If the golf portion iscancelled a green fee pass (rain check) will be issued to yourplayers. In this case, the pro shop prize allocation (gift certificates)and the meal portion of the function will be served as per thebooking and the banquet will still be held. Tournament starttimes may be delayed due to weather (frost, rain, lightning orsnow) or other situations out of our control.

POWER CARTS

Lynx Ridge has a fleet of 72 power carts. If more carts arerequired, 30-day advance notice is required. Extra carts will cost$58 per cart.(Minimum of 12 carts required to place order)Tournaments are responsible for any damage to power carts.

CLUB RENTALS

Lynx Ridge has a limited number of club rentals and must bereserved in advance to ensure availability.

SHOTGUN STARTS

All shotgun tournaments must include golf, meal, prizes & powercart. Shotguns are allowed Monday through Thursday mornings(7:30 –8:30 a.m. start) with a minimum guarantee of 60 players.Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoon shotguns are availableand must guarantee a minimum of 128 players. Lynx Ridgereserves the right to fill up shotguns that are less than 144players. Players should be instructed to arrive at least 1 hourprior to their starting time.

MEETINGS

Meetings can be arranged to coincide with your golf. Additionalmeals such as breakfasts, lunches, etc. can be added to the golfpackage. Room charges may apply with rates determined by theroom and the time required.

SIGNAGE:

Please bring all signs to Lynx Ridge at least ONE day prior to theevent to ensure adequate time to organize. Our staff will pick upall signs immediately after play. Lynx Ridge does not supply signholders.

FORCE MAJEURE

Lynx Ridge shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in theperformance of this agreement for the period that such failure ordelay is:- Beyond the reasonable control of Lynx Ridge,- Materially affects the performance of any of its obligations under this agreement, and could not reasonably have been foreseen or provided against.

This signature authorizes Lynx Ridge to charge the deposit, as well as any outstanding balances, extra charges or damages that may occur on the date of the event to the above credit card number.

Deposit

The deposit and signed tournament agreement form is required to confirm the tournament. Up to 80 players - $500 deposit. 80+ players - $900 deposit. The deposit can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card. A credit card number is also required as security. 50% of the deposit will be forfeited if the tournament is canceled outside of 60 days. 100% of the deposit will be forfeited if the tournament is canceled within 45 days of the event. After the 10 day confirmation has been given, cancellation is not permissible without total payment.

Confirmation

Up to 30 days prior to your event the group size may be reduced up to 50% with no penalty. A greater reduction may result in the loss of the deposit. Final confirmation must be made 10 days prior to the tournament. Thereafter, the tournament group will be responsible for all costs based on the confirmed number.

Payment

Full payment will be due at least 3 working days prior to the event. Payment may be made by cheque, cash, Visa, MasterCard. 2% interest per month is charged on accounts overdue for more than 30 days.
