GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS

GOLDILOCKS - SCRIPT AND SONG LYRICSNARRATOR:Once upon a time there was a little girl whose hair was so long

and golden that everyone called her Goldilocks.

Every day when Goldilocks went out to play, her mother

reminded her not to go near the forest.

MOTHER:Dont go near the forest, you might get lost.

NARRATOR:Deep in the forest was a cottage and in the cottage lived three

bears.

There was Daddy Bear. He spoke in a great big, deep

voice.

DADDY BEAR:Im great big Daddy Bear!

NARRATOR:There was Mummy Bear. She spoke in a middle-sized voice.

MUMMY BEAR:Im middle-sized Mummy Bear.

NARRATOR:And there was Baby Bear. She spoke in a squeaky, tiny voice.

BABY BEAR:Im tiny little Baby Bear.

1st song : THE BEAR SONG

GOLDILOCKS:Hes a great big daddy bear,

With great big paws and fuzzy hair,

He sits upon an enormous chair,

Hes a great big fuzzy daddy bear.

Shes a middle-sized mummy bear,

With middle-sized paws and fuzzy hair,

She sits upon a middle-sized chair,

Shes a middle-sized fuzzy mummy bear.

Shes a little baby bear,

With little paws and fuzzy hair,

She sits upon a little chair,

Shes a little fuzzy baby bear

NARRATOR:One morning, Mummy Bear made some porridge, but it was

too hot to eat. So the three bears went out for a walk in the

forest while it cooled down.

Meanwhile, Goldilocks had forgotten what her mother had told

her and she decided to wander into the forest. She walked

and walked until finally she came across the three bears little

cottage.

Goldilocks looked at the cottage and wondered who might live

there. She knocked on the door but there was no answer. She

could smell something nice inside, so she climbed in through a

window to see what it was.

On the table were three bowls of porridge.

( Three bowls dance )

ALL :A great big bowl, a medium-sized bowl and a tiny little bowl.

NARRATOR:Goldilocks tasted the porridge in the big bowl but she couldnt

eat it.

GOLDILOCKS:Its too hot!

Daddy Bears bowl:Of course its hot. This is not meant for you.

NARRATOR:Then she tasted the porridge in the medium-sized bowl but she

couldnt eat that either.

GOLDILOCKS:Its too cold!

Mummy Bears bowl:Well, its for Mummy Bear !

NARRATOR:Then she tasted the porridge in the little bowl.

GOLDILOCKS:Mmmmmmm, this porridge is just right!

Baby Bears bowl:Oh no! Dont eat it all up! Its for Baby Bear.

NARRATOR:So she ate it all up.

GOLDILOCKS:Mmmmmmm. Yummy, yummy.

2nd Song : JUST RIGHT (Porridge)

GOLDILOCKS:Just right, just right, just right for me,

Just right, just right, just right for me.

This porridge is as perfect as porridge could be,

Just right for me! Yummy yummy

NARRATOR:Goldilocks noticed three chairs by the fireside.

A great big chair, a medium-sized chair and a tiny little chair.

She tried to sit on the great big chair but it was too high.

GOLDILOCKS:Uh,uh,uh,uh..I cant reach up to sit on the chair. Its impossible.

Daddys chair:Ha..haha oh yes its not for you shorty!

NARRATOR:Then she sat on the medium-sized chair but that was too high as

well.

GOLDILOCKS:Uh, uh, uh.. I cant reach up too. No, no, no

Mummy Bears chair:Sorry.. ehmehmehm. I dont fit you!

NARRATOR:Lastly, when she sat on the little chair, she found that it was just the

right height for her.

Baby Bears chair: Oh no! No! No! I dont fit you either. Ouch! That hurts you little rascal.

3th Song : JUST RIGHT (Little Chair)

ALL:Just right, just right, just right for me,

Just right, just right, just right for me.

This little chair is as perfect as little chair could be,

Just right for me!

NARRATOR:But as she wriggled about on the chair, there was a loud crack

and the little chair broke into pieces.

Sound effect : a loud cracking and breaking sound

Baby Bears chair:Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! You are hurting me. Im broken

GOLDILOCKS:Ops ! I cant sit here anymore. (yawning- sleepy)

NARRATOR:ALL:

Goldilocks felt very tired. She tip-toed up the windy staircase

in to the bears bedroom. Inside the bedroom there were three

cloth-stands.

But something else caught Goldilocks eyes.

( Three different sized cloth-stands dance )

A great big cloth stand, a medium-sized cloth stand and a tiny little cloth stand with cozy and colourful furry robes hanging.

Goldilocks loved robes so much. Especially a pink robe.

NARRATOR:She climbed onto the great big cloth to get a blue robe, but she didnt like it.

Daddy Bears cloth-stand:Oooooooo. Careful dear.

GOLDILOCKS:Its too large and its blue ew !

NARRATOR:Then she climbed onto the middle-sized cloth stand, but she didnt like that red robe either.

Mummy Bears cloth-stand:Sorry dear.. I have reds one only..

GOLDILOCKS:Its too soft and squidgy plus its too RED!

NARRATOR:Then she reached up to the tiny little cloth stand. There she took down a pink robe.

Baby Bears cloth-stand: ( Giggling sound )

He..hehe. thats ticklestop it.

GOLDILOCKS:Wow . This robe is just right for me. ( yawning)

Baby Bears cloth-stand:Wait ! its not yours to take. Hang it back!

4th Song : JUST RIGHT (Pink Robe)

GOLDILOCKS:Lets us sing together now.

Just right, just right, just right for me,

Just right, just right, just right for me.

This pink robe is as perfect as pink robe could be,

Just right for me!

Very sleepy.( yawning )

NARRATOR:Goldilocks snuggled in the pink robe and it was so warm and cozy that she fell fast asleep.

But as she was sleeping, the three bears arrived home. They

went into the kitchen and looked at the bowls on the table.

Daddy Bear growled angrily.

DADDY BEAR:Someones been eating my porridge!

MUMMY BEAR:Someones been eating my porridge too!

BABY BEAR:Someones been eating my porridge and theyve eaten it all up!

NARRATOR:Mummy Bear looked confused and Baby Bear was looking sad because he was very hungry.

Sound effect : empty stomach grounding

ALL:Then Daddy Bear noticed his chair.

DADDY BEAR:Someones been sitting in my chair!

MUMMY BEAR:Someones been sitting in my chair too!

BABY BEAR:Someones been sitting in my chair and its broken it!

Uhuuhuuhu.

Baby Bear was very upset and he started to cry.

NARRATOR:Daddy Bear and Mummy Bear coaxed Baby Bear and went upstairs to the bedroom. Daddy Bear looked at his cloth stand. His robe had fallen on the floor.

DADDY BEAR:Someones been climbing up my cloth stand and make my blue large robe fallen on the floor.

MUMMY BEAR:Someones been climbing up my cloth stand too! My soft squidgy red robe is lying on the floor

BABY BEAR:Someones been trying on my warm cozy pink robe and shes still there sleeping in it soundly!

NARRATOR:Just at that moment, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears staring at her. They looked very surprised and Goldilocks was very frightened. She leapt out of the pink robe and ran down the stairs as fast as she could. She ran and ran all the way home, and she never went alone into the forest again.
