president’smessageMay is here and the warm days of summer can’t be far behind. We sure had a hot time at the auction. We raised $4,400 for the PAC fund beating our goal and having a lot of fun. I can’t Thank You all enough for the donations and the participation. It was great. Ryan Hyer may have missed his calling. There is a future in auctioneering for him. Thanks to Rich Mead and his wife for all their work. You did a great job. Next month we get to elect new members to our board of directors and give scholarships to some very impressive young people. We will have a special guest. I have asked Mayor Mark Halverson to join us and speak on local issues. The most important thing we are going to do in May will be our membership drive. If you haven’t thought about it, now is the time to call that perspective member and ask them why not. May 6th and 7th we will be at Lowes by the contractor desk. Ask them to stop in and pick up an application. If you need help explaining the benefits of membership, let Kathy Staack or me know and we will help or get you someone who will. I hope the economy continues to improve and we can look at successful year. Don’t forget to see Pam Zinda for tickets to “Golden Sands Night At The Races.” There are a few left.

The annual Silent and Live Auction raised over $4,400 for the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) political action fund. Those funds are used to support candidates for elective office who support and understand the importance of the housing industry to local and state economies.
