2. To be eligible to compete, participants must complete a registration form. Registration is invalid if form is NOT SIGNED. For events requiring a partner, both partners must complete registration forms. Participants are strongly encouraged to REGISTER EARLY to ensure your participation in the event of your choice.
3. Registration forms MUST be received at least one week prior to each event unless otherwise noted. This includes mail-in registration forms. No late or on-site registration will be accepted.
4. Each event must have more than three participants in order to award official 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals and individual/park points. An event having less than three participants is subject to being dropped from competition or combined with another age group.
5. Game time is forfeit time for all events.
6. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING THE RULES FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE EVENTS THEY ARE ENTERING. View rules for each event online at https://mcallen.box.com/gaorules
PARK VS. PARK COMPETITION Each RV Park will compete for a unique Park vs. Park Award. Points are awarded for placing in individual events. In team events, 75% of players must be from the same park to receive points.
OVERALL OLYMPIANIn addition to awards in individual events, points are awarded for participants finishing in first through third place. Overall Olympians are determined as the male and female participant with the most points. Participants finishing overall in first through third place will be awarded.
AWARD MEDALS Medals will be awarded at the end of each competition, whenever feasible. Results for some events may require extra time to tabulate in order to provide scoring accuracy. We kindly ask for your patience during this process. Photos can be viewed and ordered online at www.mcallenparks.net.
