from Chicago to San Francisco, LosAngeles and Pasadena; also t o LosAngeles via Salt Lake City from Minn-eapolis S t . Paul; and a through Pull-man from Denver to Los Angeles iscarried from Cheyenne. Also, a throughPullman between Chicago and LosAngeles via Oakland is carried on thistrain.

The handsome modern equipmentincludes sleeping cars with lower andupper berths, compartments and draw-ing-rooms; a r ichly furnished club-library-observation car; and the famousOverland Route dining car service.The carpets, upholstery and finishingsare harmoniously attractive.

The shower bath is a pleasant privi-lege on a trans-continental journey.The train attendants include a maid, 4manicure, hairdresser, barber and valet.These facilities and many others foryour comfort are described in detail onthe following pages. The Library.Observation Car

T H E observation car is finished inmahogany, with thick carpets ofpleasing design; deep chairs are uphol-stered in harmonious color and can bearranged to suit the passenger. Broad-vision windows are provided so thatall may see the scenic beauty for whichthe historic Overland Route is noted.The commodious observation platformis equipped with comfortable foldingchairs, A selection of the latest maga-zines is provided.

C O M F O RT and luxury are expressedin the appointments of the men'sclub compartment o f the observationcar. There are deep-seated chairs fin-ished in soft leather. Special attentionis paid to the lighting and ventilating.Daily stock market reports are postedin the club compartment and the latestmagazines are provided in the library-observation end. There i s a buffetfrom which a trained attendant dis-penses popular beverages, cigars, cig-arets, etc.

Ease and sociability are fostered onthe Gold Coast Limited.

Women's Dressing Rooms andMaid Service

T H E women's dressing rooms arespacious, tastefully furnished andconveniently arranged, permitting anumber t o use the facilities a t onetime. A trained maid is available forhairdressing, manicuring, etc.
